Simple Present Tense With Verbs or be

We use the simple present tense to say general truth/facts or habitual actions. To show habitual actions, we use the words always, usually, often, seldom, on …., sometimes, every …. (week/month/year), once a week/month, twice a week/month, three times a week/month, etc.

a. With ‘be’

Declarative Negative Interrogative
The woman is a radio broadcaster. The woman is not a journalist. Is the woman a radio broadcaster?
I am talkative I am not quiet Am I talkative?
Your are a freelancer. You are not an author. Are you a freelancer.

b. With verbs

Declarative Negative Interrogative
The men repair broken bicycles. The man do not repair broken motorcycles. Do the men repair broken bicycles? How do the men repair the bicyles?
Mr. Lukas Ridgeston teaches English Mr. Lukas Ridgeston does not teach math. Does Mr. Lukas Ridgeston teach English? What does Mr. Lukas Ridgeston teach?
