Simple Past Tense
Simple past tense digunakan untuk menyatakan sebuah insiden di waktu tertentu di masa lalu.
Time expression: yesterday, last two days, last year, this morning, a week ago, …etc.
Formula:
Verbal sentences:

Nominal sentence:

Contoh:
Ammar and Ameera were arguing about something when I walked into the room. (Ammar & Ameera sedang berdebat perihal sesuatu tatkala gue masuk ke kamar)

Present Perfect Tense
Present perfect tense ialah sebuah tense yg menggambarkan suatu insiden yg terjadi sebelum satu spesifik waktu di masa kemudian tetapi masih berlanjut sampai sekarang. Tense ini terdiri dr adonan faktor perfect (sebelum satu spesifik waktu di masa lalu) & bingkai waktu present (masa sekarang).
Selain itu, tense ini pula bisa menggambarkan suatu kejadian yg dimulai & selsai di masa lalu tetapi efeknya masih dinikmati sampai dikala kini. Lebih singkatnya, tense ini dipakai selaku penghubung antara masa kemudian & masa kini.
Rumus Present Perfect Tense
Present perfect tense dibuat dgn auxiliary verb have atau has dan past participle (verb 3). Have berpasangan dgn subjek I, You, We, & They sedangkan Has dipakai untuk subjek He, She, & It.
