Grammar: Singular and Plural Nouns

In plural form, the nouns end in -s or -es. For your information, many nouns end in -s and many others end in -es (if they end in s, x, ch, sh). How ever, if nouns end with a consonant + -y, the plural form ends in -ies. If nouns end in f or fe, change f to v and add -es.

You neeed to know that there are irregular plural forms. Meaning, those plural nouns, do not end with ‘-s’ or ‘-es’. Read and memorize many of them below.
